How to Use Cartap Hydrochloride 4% G

1. Preparation:
   • Wear appropriate protective clothing, including gloves, goggles, and a mask.
   • Ensure the application area is free from other contaminants.
2. Application:
   • Apply the granular product evenly around the base of rice plants.
   • Ensure proper distribution to cover the target area effectively.
   • Follow the specific dosage instructions provided on the product label.
3. Storage:
   • Store the product in its original packaging, locked away from children and animals.
   • Keep in a dry, cool place away from open flames.
4. Disposal:
   • Destroy and bury used empty packets ½ meter deep in the soil away from habitation. Do not leave in open areas to prevent reuse.

Safety and Precautions

• Personal Safety: Use gloves, goggles, a mask, and protective clothing while handling the product.
• Environmental Safety: Apply in the direction of the wind to prevent drift. Avoid contamination of water sources.
• First-Aid:
  • Inhalation: Move to fresh air immediately.
  • Skin Contact: Wash contaminated skin with water.
  • Eye Contact: Rinse eyes thoroughly with water.
  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.
• Symptoms of Poisoning: Nausea, tremors, salivation, spasms, dyspnoea, and mydriasis. If symptoms occur, seek medical help immediately. Administer intravenous injection of 100-200 mg of L-cysteine and intramuscular injection of 20-60 mg of BAL (dimercaprol or 2,3-dimercapto propanol) as prescribed by a physician.
